Stephen Ridley is a wonderful instructor. His enthusiasm for the material is contagious. He gives me confidence that I can indeed accomplish this otherwise Herculean task of learning the piano at age 70! I am a retired college teacher and I can assure you that his teaching method is first rate! The lessons are all short and manageable. Very well explained!
I started the program earlier this year and have really enjoyed it. Steven’s step-by-step, no nonsense approach is just the best. He walks you through every aspect of piano, breaking it down into manageable parts so I’m really understanding what I’m doing and why I’m doing it. The instructor is an amazingly spirited teacher with super great positive energy and with a very encouraging personality who breaks down each step of the piano lesson into very digestible pieces of knowledge. I don’t have to “perform” for a teacher, I can learn at my own pace.
